New site

12Oct10

We’re currently working on a new site for Teebster – watch this space!

We had the screening premier on Oct 3 for the two short films we’d made with Trinity Primary School, thanks to a First Light grant. Everyone was delighted – especially all the young people who had been involved. A big thanks to Cineworld for being so generous with their staff and for giving us a good-sized auditorium. We’ll get them up very soon.

Brain Damage will be screened  on Friday  4th June at 12.05 pm

Home Country will be screened on Wednesday 9th June at 12.10pm

Supported by the Lottery through the UK Film Council’s First Light Movies initiative, Teebster Productions is working with a group of 30 young people from Edinburgh’s Trinity Primary School, aged between 8 and 12, to create 2 short films focussing on fears.

On a practical level, this project is encouraging moving image literacy within the school. As well as the two groups who are making the movies, all the pupils were encouraged to post their fears into a ‘Fears Box’, and everyone carry follow the progress on the blog.

Teebster’s latest project for Channel 4 and NSPCC is now live, following eight months of development and production. This started with a national online competition for 13-18 year olds, progressed through workshops with ten young people who became our editorial panel.
